The babies hatched on 01/15/2023, and everyone's first night in the new run was only 1 to 1.5 months ago. I knew I wanted to keep at least three of Daffy & Daisy's first offspring, which is exactly how many lived after hatching, so we built the run to the size that would hold six ducks comfortably. The actual house has not been built yet.

If we run into a situation where I have to separate the males, we plan to use the original coop/run for a bachelor pad. Daisy and all the females will reside in the bigger coop/run.

It's amazing how big the babies are.

They most certainly got their sizes from their Momma's side of the family. The boys are definitely bigger than Daisy, and to see Priscilla aka "Prissy" and how much smaller she is compared to her brothers also trips me out every time I look at them.
