Daily Duck Egg Report

mallards started back a egg a day from one of my mallard girls going to try and hach them

Sometimes my Scovy eggs will have an olive tint.

3 eggs in the mud outside yesterday! All the nests were empty. So I guess they gave up that ghost. Not light yet so have no report for today yet.

I only have 2 girls, one crested blue swede and one KC/blue swede cross. They are only 6 months old and they started laying 6 weeks ago, within 2 days of each other. They have given me 2 eggs a day everyday. One white and one green.

Hi Everyone! I'm a new Duck owner. I got my two back in Sept. I'm not sure what they are. Turns out I have 1 duck and 1 Drake. My duck starting laying 4 days ago. I got 2 the first day one the second day and one the third day and today the 4th day nothing. Is it normal for ducks to skip a day in laying or should I be doing something special for her. I'm really excited to have eggs. I'm not planning on hatching any but I would like to use them for cooking. I guess I'm just worried that something might be wrong for her to skip a day.

i think its normal my mallards do that like yesterday i got a egg and the day befor that i got one and today nothing i was going to hatch some out but the look as if i m not going to

Got another egg this morning. She must have just skipped a day.

Yes, it is very normal for them to skip a day here and there. I love using them for baking and my 1 son says he likes them better over medium than chicken eggs.

found a nest of 2 eggs this morning i know they didnt come from the mallard and i dont think they are muscovy must be the new duck i got

2 weeks ago tomorrow I found a nest my muscovys made.. today I have two nest and 25 eggs.. I have 1 drake and 4 ducks. But one of the Ducks isn't laying yet. I really love muscovys.... they are great yard birds and the meat is so great.
