I'm1chickencuddler :
I have a chicken that has feathers very similar to your Daisy. Mine is named Chicky Luna. She has a crazy looking mohawk headdress kind of thing and no feathers on her legs and feet. Like daisy, she is ultra silky soft. And BIG. We have no idea what she is as she was sold to us as a Buff Orpington at a farm a ways from here. We didn't get my first dozen from a hatchery or feed store like we did our second 2 batches. We have 1 Buff Orpington out of what we were told were 4. We wanted an assortment and we really don't care what they are as long as they are happy and healthy. I love your pictures. She is sweet!
Daisy is a standard Cochin. She is also going to be a huge chicken! She is the biggest 9/10 week chick I've ever seen. Daisy is the least to get picked on as I'm integrating my flock. I'm assuming it's because of her size and her ruffled feathers make her appear even larger.
