Daisy my Frizzle... Picture Overload! Updated Pictures post 28

I have a chicken that has feathers very similar to your Daisy. Mine is named Chicky Luna. She has a crazy looking mohawk headdress kind of thing and no feathers on her legs and feet. Like daisy, she is ultra silky soft. And BIG. We have no idea what she is as she was sold to us as a Buff Orpington at a farm a ways from here. We didn't get my first dozen from a hatchery or feed store like we did our second 2 batches. We have 1 Buff Orpington out of what we were told were 4. We wanted an assortment and we really don't care what they are as long as they are happy and healthy. I love your pictures. She is sweet!

Daisy is a standard Cochin. She is also going to be a huge chicken! She is the biggest 9/10 week chick I've ever seen. Daisy is the least to get picked on as I'm integrating my flock. I'm assuming it's because of her size and her ruffled feathers make her appear even larger.​

Our frizzle ("Ms. Frizzle" from The Magic School Bus) is my favorite. She's definately has the most personality. My husband told me the other day he wouldn't mind if we got rid of the rest and replaced them all with frizzles. I just may take him up on that.

I have a frizzle and she is the sweetest chicken in our flock....until she has little chickies..she becomes a WARRIOR to protect her babies.....will attack you or any thing when she hears her chick cry out......she is very broody....had to just discourage her because we have too many chicks right now but we can COUNT on her to sit on eggs to be the one to help increase out flock naturally, we have 2 hens that go broody (1 young Buff Orp. and Precious fizzle) .. I am new to all this and want to KNOW who and how many hens I can count on naturally if ever needed...
