oh wow. Got out there this morning to see this my self. They are silkie eggs. So verified one of my silkies is actually a ladie and not waiting to be yet another roo lol. Im still confused they are supposed to lay about 7-9 months. the older crew which my silkies are in i bought 23mar22. they are a little over 4 months. Seems like longer but thats all its been. anyone else had such early layer silkies?

And who evers laying is just outside the egg boxes. I guess i need to work on prettying them up once im not sick., Cleaning the two eggs and then OFC all u all get a size comparison pic.

Do any of u refrigerate ur eggs? I was curious if i should to stop any potential growth of the embryos. they got some busy roos with them so they most likely are fertile. If i had no males i was thinking of just not refrigerating them. Any advice would be great.

And they were both single yoke. And I'll tell u what breaking those little devils was tricky. Size comparison to grade a large.
