Damage or bruising with mechanical plucker?

I'm considering getting a mechanical plucker (drum type) and my partner is concerned about bruising or damaging the meat with the plucker. What are your experiences using a plucker with respect to this?

We love our plucker. We processed 70 birds the other day 2 of us. We are experienced at dresssing chickens and the scalding temp of your water has to be just right in order for a plucker to work right. We wouldn't know how to dress without our plucker now that we have had one.
