My chick eggs are on Day 12 and I candled them. One of the eggs air sack was visible at the top, but part of it looked busted and like it floated around the egg.. I candled before and this just happened. Will this effect the growth or hatch? The outside of the egg is not broke.

Broken aircells do affect hatchability (not in a good way), it usually happens from shock damage in shipping but can be caused by shaking or dropping eggs also. Some chicks will hatch but it is a crap shoot, I just had eggs shipped that almost all of the aircells were displaced, out of 24 eggs I hatched 7 healthy chicks and one died right after hatching. Most of them developed but failed to hatch. You can search "tremulous aircell" and get some good information on the subject.

Thanks for the help! I left it in the incubator another day and when I opened the incubator the next day, it was obviously rotten. I took it out. Atleast I still have 4 chicks and 8 turkeys that are hatching Monday and Tuesday!!

Me too! Nobody is peeping yet but they might be a little bit late because my incubator was unplugged one night in incubation. Hoping for everybody to hatch!!
