We converted half of the old milk house attached to our barn into a chicken coop. It is very well ventilated with with one wall all wire and 3 windows as well as the small door to the outside run. On hot days we open up the outside door of the milk house to allow even more ventilation and light. Only problem is the entire barn, milk house included is much cooler than outside so condensation builds up on the floor. Since we have unlimited access to straw we use that for bedding. Anyone else dealing with damp floors and therefore bedding because of humidity? Any suggestions on how to keep it relatively dry?
