Does anybody raise or have knowledge of this breed? There is very little information on the internet and nobody who has personal experience with them. Greenfire (GFF) sells them as a very recent import.
I have a weakness for black and white mottled, laced, penciled, spangled, etc. Crested is frosting on the cake.

They are beautiful! I love greenfire farms and I think they are exceptional but do not have personal or second hand knowledge or experience with this particular breed. Hopefully someone can let you know!

Hey there! I have not been able to find too much information on this breed either, but I did see an auction this past weekend for 12x day old straight-run chicks from Greenfire so I bid bc it was low and wound up winning.. Can't wait to see what this breed brings and what I can cull out of future generations, only issue is lack of standardization or really any info on this beauty..

I hatched out 3 this spring eggs mailed from TX supposed to be from the GFFs imports. It's appearing that there is 1 cock and 2 pullets, who may all be closely related. My concern is how best to expand the gene pool here?

I've been wondering the exact same thing.. considering GFF seems to be the only importer and seller seems we're all pulling from the same gene pool.. I've been told that crossing into another breed then back crossing could help, but I'm so novice I wouldn't know how to go about that just yet and I'd think that would mess up the lineage..

Anyone growing these out yet? I just got two from GFF.
