I bought mine online at Amazon. They are more expensive at the small pet stores. I know you will be really happy with how they work. They do need to hang lower/closer to your chicks than the traditional heat lamp bulbs. The chicks will let you know when the lamp is at the right height by sleeping just outside of the radius of the lamp shade.
