DANGER DANGER: Winter has arrived!

21c my butt... It was 25F when I woke up this morning. We left a paint roller in a bucket of water Monday night and there was ice on it Tuesday morning. And all the birds insist on sleeping outside.

Well, we got at least 2 inches of snow--last night. The first snow of the season too! Woo hoo! I thought it would be total white-out since it was really coming down last night. Oh well!

My birds didn't want to come out of their coops. Well, one of the bigger chicks came out, did a little hippity-hop-hop, and ran back inside. It's the first snow for that guy. LOL! Not so for the others. They know what's going on.

I might open up the barn between them and let them scratch around from coop to coop...AND eat the cat food I have for the cats out there.

Oh well! Stay warm and have a good Thanksgiving ladies and gents.

Lyndatu, I wish I was there with you in the Phillipines in that 70 F. degree weather. LOL Cold and rainy here in MO today. Not cold enough for snow or ice yet, but they say in the next couple days, maybe.

We're freezing cold here - we woke up this AM and it was 7(F) in the chicken coop.
Right now its around 18 (F) in there, so its warmed up nicely. The chickens are just fine, all full of bounce this morning, but they didn't stay out long, just long enough to eat all the scratch I threw out.

Well well, it's cold... We have 6°C outside and 19°C inside at the moment. Nobody is womplaning now... but we will be in a few weeks or so when it starts freezing outside. But I hope we get snow this year...I love it.

The kids from my friends in Indonesia start wearing jackets when it's 25°C over there, but when its 25 here in Belgium they would wanna wim outside. The temp is the same but feels verry different because of the tropical climate overthere. Just like it is where you live. 21 in a tropical climate is cold indeed.

Well, this morning when I got up after 6:30 this AM it was 0 Degrees F. outside, and it slowly warmed it's way up to 4 degrees before I left for work at 8:30 am. I have to take water out to the chickens before I go to work and after I get home.
