Danger of high temp. in the incubator

I observed a sharp rise to 108 oF in the incubator. Will this affect the hatchability of my eggs?

It could, yes, depending on how long it was that high. The killing temperature at which the growing embryos will die is 104 F. If the incubator was at 108 long enough for the eggs to have heated up to 104 or higher in the middle, then the embryos will have likely been killed
