I knew there was almost zero chance this chicken was a hen once I saw the red comb but I really wanted to keep him/her.
Alas the crowing this morning sealed the deal.

So I created a Craigslist entry for my 10 week old Easter Egger Roo Jack, and yes I know the irony of naming him Jack.
These are my first chickens. Anything else I can do besides Craigslist to find him a good home in the Austin, Texas area?

You could put him in the auctions here. We got our last rooster from here - a gorgeous pet quality salmon faverolle who is still doing a great job taking care of our flock! We actually went and picked him up in Austin, too!
