I noticed today that she had poop stuck on her butt, and then realized it was prolapsed. I've given her 2 Epsom salt baths, wash with antibacterial hand soap, and coated her in bag balm (out of neosporn at the moment). Then pushed it back it. The first time it popped out within a couple minutes, and I'm inside now after the second time. I'll check on her again in a few.

Anything I can do for her? Is she done for? She's my only bantam and I adore her. Any help is much appreciated.

Just make sure that she is not egg bound by inserting a finger inside about 1 inch. Egg binding can be one cause of prolapse. I would also apply some honey, sugar, or Preparation H inside/outside the vent to help reduce swelling. She should be kept in a dark place or cover her cage for 16 hours a night to stop her from laying eggs temporarily. Keep the vent clean as possible, and remove any black or dead tissue. Make sure she can pass droppings. Here are some good articles for you:

Thanks for the info. She's inside resting. I gave her a long bath, dried with the blow dryer, used neosporin, and used gauze to hold everything up. That seemed to be working, but once she pooped everything was pushed out again. I took the gauze off so she could walk easier and be more comfortable. I keep pushing it back in when I check on her, and I'm using honey now. I don't think I'll be able to save her, but I can make her as comfortable as possible. Maybe it will look better in the morning.
