Hi! I'm new here and it said to do a new member intro this way so... Answering that template now.
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I'm new to birds in general, and I don't have chickens I have ducks. I first got my little baby ducks 3 weeks ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 3 spoiled baby ducks.
(3) What breeds do you have?
One Pekin named Trevor, one Swedish Black named Quantum, and one... I have no idea I think but I think they might also be a Swedish Black whom I've named Oilspill due to their feather pattern originally making them look like a yellow duck who got into an oilspill.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Frantically searching literally everything ever about my ducks to make sure it's normal and winding up on the forums here a ton.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I sculpt, draw, do nail art, sing, and amuse my chubby pet orange cat.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share
My babies are my family, and the duckies their big brother Millicent the chubby orange cat who guards them. I have another cat, a black and white boy named Eli, but Millicent refuses to let him get near the ducks. Millicent tends to adopt small furry creatures and become an overprotective parent. Cute baby~ He'll gently push them with a paw if they try to eat something that's not food, lead them about the house to his favorite sleeping spots, and watch during swim times. He worries if he's not watching the ducks or myself any time we are in water we'll drown xD Screams so loud if he can't keep an eye on us, and pouts if he can't snuggle.
