I really need some D'anvers...

Aubrey, I still plan to have some porcelains one day. I need my current numbers to dwindle and I'll know when the time is right. Hopefully, you'll be able to help me out with that when the time comes. They are so cute!

No problem, they aint going no where!! Just let me know when you are ready. I'm supossed to have a couple new trios coming in soon too, so will have another blood line on the procelains to go with them when you're ready.

blackbird12,
just one thing to do there, get ya some!

they are addictive though so be warned, they are just the perfect little bantam to me, lots of attitude, some of the friendliest hens you'll ever find, if put in a pen together at the same time, roos get along fine (I have 2-4 in each breeding pen) and cool looking as they come to me, I love them

I hatched some D'anvers from Aubrey. Two dark blue or black pullets, one quail pullet, one mottled cockerel, and one blue cuckoo cockerel. Here are some pictures :

hey you did get a blue cuckoo, cool!
There are gone end up nice and to my knowledge, no one has made them yet other than me, so right now he's one os a kind.
Breed him back to blues or you blacks and you should get blue black splash, cuckoo and blue cuckoo

Hey there Aubrey,

Have a Silver Quail cockerel if you are interested. Earlier on in this thread you were talking to a lady (Shelly - L&SChickens)with Silver Quail d'Anvers that you wanted to get eggs from and she said she got the stock from a local lady - that would be me. In fact I just gave her a hen in lay this last week and I am hatching eggs for her.

heyKristen,
I figured that was probably you there she was talking about. Do you have a pic of him?
Well, To be honest, I dont have room now and have hatched out quite a few of my own to keep back, so pretty good on them now, also have about 300-400 color project chicks to build pens for for next breeding season now and counting, so my plates pretty full.
