My daughter brought my little D'anver Cockeral in to me. I was holding him and petting his back and he fell asleep!

I have never had a roo do this. It is not like he is handled a lot, he was raised by a broody.

He is such a little cutie!

I don't know how good it will show up, but those two blue chicks that hatched out of my silver quail roo x splash quail hen are looking like they have real faint barring and not the lacing I was expecting.

Here is a porcelain that I think is looking a little different.

yep, they dang near look like lemon cream ones, that's what I was wondering when I saw the chicks....sure would be nice. Been wanting to do that for a long time, but you have to find something close to type and with cream in it...pretty tuff

Seen some lemon d'uccles once, but they were way too high for project work birds, would a been perfect though.

Doubt these are by no means, but kind have the look so far, way paler than normal, but not quite cream doesnt look like.

Should make some pretty birds when they grow up though. I like any kind of mille. Hope to get to do some more work on the silver milles this year

they do look to have a bit of ghost barring to them. I see a bit of lacing in some of them too. It can be tricky on a blue or lavender pattern over a white base, just tuff to distiguish the colors. Some of my normal silvers start out a bit blurry too as chicks, but clean up and get a good lacing when they mature, could be what's happening here too

ETA, the porcelain looks about right for the most part, wing feather colors looks right. Again with the lavender and it's diluting effect, they can be tricky too at times. Once they get a good base of feathers going, it'll be easier to tell
