havent got that far with them to tell 100%, but the blue dilutes the gold red color on the quail. If I'm thinking right from your question, that's what you are talking about, the washed out looking quial that come from blue quail matings.I really like the crele pullet too. Can't wait to have a bunch of them. I would like to get a decent male out of this pen to put with some pullets out of my other pen.
I got another question, I have my blue silver pullets with one of your silver quail roosters ( he looks columbian, but thats what I have) half the chicks are going to be silver quail. Is it going to be like the quails out of a blue quail line, meaning the color will be off or will I have two lines of silvers when I am done?
Yep that was what I was wanting to know. Thanks.havent got that far with them to tell 100%, but the blue dilutes the gold red color on the quail. If I'm thinking right from your question, that's what you are talking about, the washed out looking quial that come from blue quail matings.
In the silvers case, they wont have anything but black and white, neither of those should be effected by the blue mating, so they should be perfect in theory.
There is nothing not to like about a d'Anver pullet.
