Same here. Havent had much time to get on recently. Between work, birds, hunting, and all the fall /winter stuff on a farm.

Plan to start posting a lot more like i uaually did once spring gets here.
With the addition of JJs stuff, that pushed me up to 48 finished d anver varieties now. So i got a lot of new pics to take and share on here this spring.

Hard to believe yours are 4 yrs old now... Lord time flys. Glad to see yall have kept my ol thread going in my absence. I promise once spring gets here, ill be able to stay on more often. Gone have thousands of eggs and chicks then that will need a new home. So yall start getting your wish list ready!!

As they told you, with what you have, itd be much easier to get a solid lavender. I have some super nice breeders. Once they start laying, ill be happy to help you out with all that. I bet those lav cuckoos are traced back to here. I started those about 7-8 years ago. Love em

Aubrey, my friend! I'm so happy you're back! Been missing you a bunch around here. 48 varieties???? OMgosh!

Yup, my three original hens and your namesake are turning 4 in April. Then, I have Spike, my one porcelain hen, her mille mother, Mina, and Lucy and Sissy. I don't plan to have anymore of them, but knowing this bunch, a couple will go broody this spring and then, I'll have to decide to either give them LF eggs or try to break them up (like that's gonna happen).

Ladyhawk still has old Rufus up in Kentucky. He's gone to the Asian side and produced all sorts of babies with little poufs.

Awesome! Thank you. Love lavender birds, I intend to solely raise them alongside porcelains and the odd/rare/nice colors I might come across. I don't know anything about the cuckoos, but they're gorgeous birds. They're starting to warm up and become very friendly.

Got a few lavender columbian, lavender buff columbian, some lav quail from JJ. And working on lavender silver quail. And of course solids, cuckoo, and the porcelains.

Hate to hear about all that fungus and asian stuff, ol Ladyhawk lol gotta love her haha. And yep, 48 finished up colors now. Sime i just have a couple of though. And JJ helped add in several this year with the stuff he sent me. Of course, that also added more types that i want to make too. Its a curse

JJ, I like those very much! How much off color do you get with these right now? I love the "pocket watch gold" shades best.
