thanks for the new photo comparisons. I'm seeing what you mean more now. Interesting! Are you making any silver laced d'anvers? If so, how are things looking with that project?

yep, making silver, gold , red and buff, then with blue some. Just got my starter birds for those though, so F1 hatch will start next spring, will let you know how they turn out

Hey, Aubrey, have your little D'anvers ever had reproductive issues? I've lost 9 hens to internal laying, all except one hatchery stock and all standards, but my only banty, a Cochin, has had prolapse as well as been egg bound. She is also from the same hatchery. I don't have many hatchery girls left after all this, but was wondering about your little girls. I rarely hear of bantams having issues like that, it seems, but could be I just missed that on the board.

Also, what is your feeding regimen for these little ones?

Just love all the pictures...Aubrey the whites that I hatched from the eggs you sent me are doing well. I have 3 Quail's that have been laying, need a good Quail roo.

Want to expand - going to try and get to the Nationals here in Ohio.

Thanks! Molly

What are the millies and porcelains based off of?? Do the have a black background (E locus), Wheaten (E^Wh locus), or partridge (e^b)?? Just curious. According to the kip calculator millies are partridge (e^b) but I I think it can vary with the breed. Any thoughts?
