yep got yall both down,
Chicken Stalker, hope to get to your eggs here pretty quick, just waiting on 2 more of your colors to start to do something and can get them collected for the incubator.

Cynthia, the porcelains are laying a little now, getting to where I expect to see eggs when I walk to their pens, so we should be on schedule for yours too, if I am short 1-2, the millies did lay their first yesterday too, I know at one time you mentioned maybe some of them as subs if needed, but I think I should be able to get all porcelains for you. But at least they are there if needed too to keep your time schedule right for you.

Thank you, Aubrey. Whatever will work best when bred to the porcelains will be fine, if you have to add something different.

I got ya,
should be all porcelains, but if not,
if you breed millies to them, you will get millies split to lavender offspring, which if bred back to each other or to porcelain, will end up giving you more porcelains again.

Here are a few pictures of our birds.......Self Blues and Quails.

Sorry they look a little weathered due to all the rain we been having.

Also a few of their beards are almost pluckett out...........have a little pullet with an attitude that likes to pull their beards out.

What neat little birds! I'm so excited that in a few days, I'll have my first D'Anver eggs to hatch. We have the front and back walls framed on the coop now and, weather and hubby's back permitting, we'll probably have it finished in time for them to leave the brooder and grow out in their future home.

yep, I know what you mean, I have some millie fluer hens that are beard lovers too. Got some REALLY nice males shipped in over the winter and they are almost bald now thanks to those little buggers.

Those look like Frattos' Romer line quail and maybe Shepards lavenders, are they?
Look to be good type on both.....How's Jerry doing?
