You'd be waiting A LOT LONGER...Lord seems every body wants them.... I'm gonna have to say no in a bit and get some for myself too, I need about 15-20 more to add to the breeders. I just cant keep up with them as is....

going to start working your order tomorrow, hope to have it ready Monday, thought you and JJ were in competion for the same colors, but yall good so I can get both yours looks like.

Will be glad when I get caught up and can work them as they come in, much better that way, on me at least.
Got 121 eggs today, 90 yesterday and 102 the day before, so shouldnt take long at this rate

The eggs are coming!!

Some pictures from the brooder today. The huge yellow chick is a pure Delaware and the one with a tail and wing markings is a Delawegger (Del x EE) so you can ignore them, if you dare. It's hard to ignore a Delaware, LOL. They're 5 days old today.

First, the progeny of Rufus with my lav Cochin-only two of nine were black, so the rest were sired by the porcelain males. One black is quite small, the other very round like the other Coch'Anvers:

haha yep, I'm 15 or so years into the bantam thing, It dont happen over night that's for sure. Honestly, with this many It about makes you go mad trying to keep up with everything. I do label each on as I pick it up too, or I'd have a mess.

Playing switch the pens this weekend too, time to rotate out some of the breeders for more color projects

Here is what our little eyeliner kid is turning out to be at 4 weeks old, methinks the only D'Anver pullet from the first hatch. I'm betting the tiniest one is a late blooming cockerel and will post a picture of it in a minute. The BR and the BR x EE, plus one of the Coch'Anvers are pullets, thank goodness! First, eyeliner kid:

This one is the tiny one we were not sure of, could have gone either way. I think it went to the Dark Side, LOL. What say you?



They already messed up the roost I scrubbed before I put them in here, pooped all over it already!

Cynthia- that the way I hatch them. Last fall I hatched 8 quail and 7 were roosters. And the book says 50/50. If I could just get it to work with lottery numbers.

I have about 5-6 dozen spoken for from both of those... will get you pretty quick though. If it makes you feel better, you are ahead of several others!!
