d'anver lovers, discuss the breed and post some pics!

You know, Aubrey, my lavender bantam Cochin came from Ideal, so it's anyone's guess. She's smaller than most banty Cochins I've seen in person. Here is a picture of her with the three males:

JJ, that looks really good! You can come build one for me anytime!

What variety are those d'anvers roosters? They are beautiful!

Cetawin - That pic is too funny XD They'll never see it comin!

Oh goodness I just noticed you are in VA too...you better PM me your address prior to the infiltration so none of the Hairy Legged Horde strays to your place. Boys will be boys and should you have any cute little females with shaved legs around the henhouse well....I could not make any promises.

Yes he is something else...you should see his little sister's plan. They are all very sneaky as well as crafty

Aubrey, here are two chicks out of my buff columbian attempt (bb red x mille), does one look right?

The one on the right is kinda olive green.

Let's see if I learned something from a good OEGB breeder. If it holds for d'Anvers too, the one one the left is a cockerel and the one on the right is a pullet based on the darkness in the eye stripe.

Oh yes, we have heard of your horde and have begun training. Saftey first you know! Front line units in training. (OEGB 3 weeks old)

bwahahahahahaha Love it! I must go tell the younglings not to worry that there are friendlies in the area. The horde will have some ittle OEGs in the ranks.
