haha, yep once I get some of those going, they'll be super expensive, just not too sure they'd be fertile

was it from some I sent you? Cant remember what all I sent. Kinda sounds like the blue buff columbians I get.
In the blure red pen, I have those brown red hens too, if it's mine and came from a BR egg, it would have to be blue red or lemon blue (blue brown red) If it's solid blue and from that pen, I'd bet lemon blue. They are usually black with a red face, so the blue version would be blue with a yellow face, not sure about the eye stripe on those . I have yet to hatch a lemon blue out of them, so I'll be PO'ed if you get the first one and I didnt!! HAHA

Yep, I put all your eggs in their own drawer so I could keep the silver quail straight. You sent lav,black crele,blue red, and silver quail. Maybe I got the 1048th chick and won the lottery.

I forgot to mention I did hit the lottery again and got another silver duckwing this Sunday out of those lavender silver quail project eggs, and a white columbian off the silver quail. Maybe this columbian will be a male. all I've got so far over the years is pullets but they all have come from my silver quail. This one did too, so fingers crossed I'll get a few more and maybe a male. Even putting them over a silver quail doesnt do much good, most come out quail still, but I'm sure a chick back cross or back again to the columbian will get me a few. Will have to do that next year if I dont get a male this time.

Aubrey...most days I am the Queen O Smart Arse. Here is an example for you, some time ago (back in Oregon) I had a ... well let's just call her "not so bright" trophy wife arrive with her husband to pick up eggs from me and sees the birds out in their runs and such and points to one of my Roos and says "Oh my what a beautiful bird. What type is she?" I said politely "that is my EE rooster, his name is Severus". She says "Oh beautiful what kind of eggs does he lay?" Now...her husband looked mortified and I smiled and said "HE lays 14K gold ones, they are not for sale". The wife was actually upset when she told her husband she wished I would sell her some of his.
I am sorry to announce that ya'll are gonna be stuck with me in your d'anver thread in less than 36 hours. I shall be arriving at Speckledhen's around that time and shall immediately begin causing chaos in her d'anver pen and choosing which male d'anver baby boy will be mine as the main breeder in the Hairy Legged Horde's arsenal. muahahahahahahaha I already have the pancake mix packed and shall pick up grapes on the way so that the chaos can begin! I already told my 4 lucky d'uccle girls about their little man coming home after this weekend.

The dark blue with the quail face dried black and came out of an egg marked as black. No lottery win this time. But what out of this bunch could throw two kinda dirty yellow chicks?
They dried off and they are a pretty yellow. So every thing is accounted for except BB reds. Did I get two winning tickets?
