I had a great time. It was so nice to meet everyone! Tim thank you SO much for bringing DE, I had been searching high and low for it. If you set up in September I know I'd like more from you!

Stacey awesome job getting the first Danville swap organized! Give yourself a big pat on the back, you did awesome!

I'd LOVE to do it again in September and am sure I won't have any problem dragging Brandon along :)

My husband wanted to thank everyone, this is the first swap I've been to and not come home with a single bird of any kind! I did get a lovely pecan pie and some homemade salsa at the Farmers Market! Oh and fresh pork sausage which will be breakfast tomorrow!

Hi Brandon,
I bought two Ameraucana chicks from you yesterday and when I got home I realized one of them had yellow legs. No biggie - you probably just grabbed the wrong one. I was just wondering what other breed of chicks you had in there so I will know what new breed I added to my flock.

Hope everything is going good. I thought I picked out two ameracana but I may have grabbed something else on accident. Does is have gold and black on it? My blue laced wyandottes spit out black, splash, and blue so I may have accidently thought it was an americana. Thanks again and if there is any way you could send a pic I would like to see it.

On a sort of (but not really) related note. My husband and I braved the Ringgold Flea Market today trying to find some pullets, but we were not even close to successful and left feeling disappointed and somehow very very....dirty. We left and hoped to stop by the Farmer's Market by the Danville Science Center, but arrived too late and it was not open.

Tips, anyone, on where I can find some pullets? I'd like to try Leghorns or Jersey Giants, but I am completely infatuated with my Rhode Island Reds and in my heart of hearts, that is what I want.

For those who have read the Guppy thread, please know that I will not be flushing my chickie babies down the toilet.
