Daphne and The Goons enjoying a fall day

This one was taken in June - about 1 month before the other photo I posted. My drake's legs are like tree trunks compared to the girls.

Thank you again! I did have to catch and treat Goon 1 when he/she injured a leg a couple of weeks ago. I expected to be hissed at, but there wasn’t even a hint of one.

As for names, “Flower” comes to mind when I look at Goon 2. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I will say that I had, at one point, thought I was going to have to get 9 more ducks to balance out what I thought might be two drakes. I wouldn’t mind adding a couple more (mallard derived, so that Daphne doesn’t feel alone), but 9 more seemed like a few too many!

9? That's quite a few for one drake 3 is the minimum. But I'm sure if you had a drake, he would be happy with 9.
I'm bad with names. Takes me forever to pick one. If you like flowers, maybe pick some flower names?

There was a time when I thought that both ducklings might be drakes at which point I thought I would need 9 extra (was going to give each 5 wives). I like the name Daisy for the white one
