Dark area on egg

Noticed this dark spot on the end of one of my duck eggs. Is this normal? The eggs started to move last Friday and are still moving? The eggs have been in the incubator for about two weeks. These eggs are from an abandoned nest, so not exactly sure how far along they are. I have kept the incubator closed since Friday and humidity is around 70%. Also noticed one has started to crack, peep. Thanks in advance.

If it's still moving then it should hatch soon..Don't assist the eggs. It takes Ducks a longtime to hatch out.

Yes the egg is moving. This is our first attempt to hatch duck eggs or any other eggs for that matter. These were from an abandoned nest.

Could be a bit of blood from internal pip if it hit a big vein... as long as it is either peeping or moving, it *should* be ok... I would candle it and look into the air cell, myself...
