I noticed that my Turken's bottom is lightly downy (no feathers) and her skin is fairly transparent. Under her skin it looks quite dark. She eats and poops fine from what I have seen. Her crop was pretty stuffed at one point, but is smaller and soft now. The dark area is about the size of her entire bottom.
