Dark Brahma 6.5week chicklet?

Info on the Dark Brahma:
We got her 3/24/10 as a day old chick from a feed store that Privett Hatchery supplies.
She was sold unsexed (unfortunately as the feed store told us all the get are pullets).
She originally was the one of the loudest for the first week but now she (& our Silver Wyandotte) are the best lovers & cuddlers!

We have been calling this one "Heather."

What's your vote?

My understanding is only the females get the penciling. So you have a girl!

i read that the city doesn't actually have a ban on roosters...

At 6 1/2 weeks old, A male brahma wouldn't have grown in any male plumage yet. It is too young to. I think it's a male

It's still a female. Males don't get the penciling.

Baby males Do have penciling until it grows out into their adult plumage. They aren't born with male colors
