Dark Brahma Roo? I’m pretty sure I know the answer.

This is my first time owning Brahmas. This is a roo, correct? I was “guaranteed” they were all pullets (I know, I know). I already have a roo and this is one of our favorites. Hopefully they can cohabitate.

Looks like a pullet to me, but I could be wrong. My 8-week-old Brahma cockerel has a wider comb and larger wattles (relative to his head size) than yours.

Thank you and I sure hope so! I’ve seen conflicting info about the coloring. She/he is our sweetest one and I don’t want to have to build a second coop due to having two Roos.

Yes, it is a cockerel. Females of that variety have completely different coloring than the males.
That’s what I was thinking after a lot of research. I wouldn’t have gotten my current roo if I’d known Phoenix was a too. Now let’s hope they can cohabitate or I’ll have to build a second coop.
