Dark Brown Mottled Chick?

A friend just found these two little guys left at a gas station in a crate in the cold.

I was wondering what kind of breed the dark brown one could be, any ideas?

They've had a drink and are looking cozy under a heat lamp now.

She went to get them when she saw that someone had posted an ad on CL lost & found that they were there. Luckily it's not freezing, but it's still only about 60 and they were there for at least a few hours from when it was posted to when she saw it and picked them up, and they are so little.

I'll ask her if she'll take another pic.

How many toes are on the brown colored chick? What color is its face/legs/skin? Does it have feathered legs/feet?

The white one looks like Cornish or Cornish X.

I can't see its legs bit I assume they are fatherless?
