These are big birds. I lost 2 to a dog attack and they were too heavy to carry both carcasses in one hand. They are rather slow maturing though. I didn't get eggs until they were 8months.

I only have 2 of these hens left which is why I threw all the eggs I had sitting around in to the bator. This will be my first hatch from these guys. I'm using flat rate shipping boxes so along with bubble wrap, other padding, and my time the cost will be $14 no matter where I send them or how many you want to the point I over fill a box. Like I said I only have 2 hens laying the brown eggs though. If you want only fresh ones I'll collect over a weekend and send you just a few and if you want to take your chances I'll collect for weeks. Costs me about the same to ship either way. I also have 3 standard hatchery EE out in the coop with this roo so I can include EE eggs crossed with the dark layer roo. No idea what you'll get out of them but I would assume some shade of olive egger. I tend not to get very darkly tinted eggs from my EE though so the dark brown may just cover it over completely. Who wants to find out? The EE also matured much faster and laid by 4months so that cross might grow faster and lay sooner.

I like the spotted eggs, but i have way to many eggs right now.....

If you want to reserve eggs to go out the 22 or 23rd let me know cause currently brown eggs are claimed except that week. Otherwise if anyone wants the EE hens crossed with the above roo I can send some out the 15 or 16th. I get 2 or 3 eggs a day from them. Those are the last 2 possible shipments I have and then all my eggs are claimed for the rest of this month.

Oooo! I want some of the dark layer eggs! How many do you think you'll have on the 22nd?

Of just the brown ones somewhere around 10. Possibly a full dozen. Then I get around 18 EE eggs a week.

Pretty eggs. I love the dark browns but I can't have any more breeds.
