dark comb sour crop or liver failure?

My hen has a bad case of sour crop/yeast infection, as well as, elevated liver levels likely an infection. Her comb has been getting dark especially when stressed (i.e. getting medication, syringe fed) and when her crop is full of gas/bile (goes down when massaged).
Can a hen have a dark comb with sour crop? Or is it her liver? Also, how long does it take for a chicken to recover from sour crop on nystatin? Can sour crop make them extremely lethargic?
