This is a lousy pic, but easier than camera/download/edit/upload! These birds are driving me crazy! In my first hatch ever I got a peach/beige colored hen. A year later I sold her but I collected 2 eggs and both hatched, one was also a peach colored male, which is the only same colored chick I ever hatched in over a hundred eggs with that hen in the breeding flock of 15 hens. I paired that male up with some Rosetta hens and got 9 chicks, 3 of which are peach. The problem is I was thinking it was Blau/Italian (plus fee, roux, and possible eb and white). These chicks are 5 weeks old, 3 peach and one scarlet (as color comparison). Why does my peach quail have an Italian head? So does the middle bird, same color but it is there. It is definitely a multigenetic phenotype but I can’t figure out what genes you need to get what variation. Is that peach Italian even feather sexable? I was going with male as no spots on the Brest but maybe with all the other wacky genes you can’t tell. Whatever it is, I love the color and my colors will get even more interesting as half my hens are Italian/American pansy. And I thought lab coat colors were tough, that’s 3 genes, this is 4+! Anybody ever deal with this color before?

I think Ive seen the colour referred to as cinnamon it's fawn over roux, which sounds possible for your covey. The fawn might explain the Italian looking head pattern
