Dark Cornish bantam mating normal size hens

I've seen my Cornish bantam mount a few of my normal size hens and was wondering if when he's doing this is he getting the job done or not? He seems to be on their back more then anything and not so much near the hens area. Anyone know about this or any thoughts?

He has to make cloacal contact to fertilize their eggs. It can be done, but he has to perfect his technique. Check a couple of eggs to see if they are evidencing the fertile bullseye.
