Dark Cornish Rooster over Delaware hens

The dark skull stripe (not dot) is common to this cross??? Curious if its an indicator of gender or eventual pattern.
Dark Cornish are eb, when crossed with Wheaten their body will be wheaten with a faint headstripe that will not show any headspot. eWh/eb, eWh/e+ will not show any headspot only if E or ER are along wheaten otherwise Wheaten just cancels any barring headspot on chick down
