Dark egg

I have some really dark green eggs that I am trying to candle and see if there is an embryo inside and the egg is so opaque that I cannot see inside.. is this normal ?inside

Were you trying to post an image? Some eggs are like candling rocks and there isn't much you can do about it but I have had good success using a small high lumen flashlight.
