Smoke yawned as he reached the entrance to their camp. I wonder what it is now? He thought. Then he remembered that the pups had beem missing, Oh, no! What if they're hurt!

As she charged toward it, she ordered her friends, and family to get out of the way, and suddenly she saw a flash of tan, as Bori passed her, and grabbed the pups, so that they would be a safe distance away, and ran back to help her.

Smoke ran into the clearing they called their camp, and spotted a huge, dark brown animal in the center. His orange eyes widened, A bear in camp?!

They charged, and attacked in perfect sync, howling together.

Smoke watched as Aurora raced towards the bear. Oh. So we're fighting it? He let out a half growl, half sigh. So be it. Smoke bounded toward the blundering creature.
