They reached the river, and headed to the shallows, Link stepped in, showing her where it was safe to wade.

Marble reached the river and having no idea how to fish, she plunged her head underwater and looked around for a fish.

Link was about to snag a fish, when he smelled something, no, someone...
"Daddy I got one!" She had a small minnow in her mouth, "Good work!" he replied.

"Who's that papa?" Grace asked looking toward the (gray?) wolf.
Link looked over, it was marble

Marble lifted her head from the water, her muzzle dripping. She hadn't spotted any fish, so she tried a different tactic. She crouched at the edge of the water and watched it. The thought of fish slipped her mind as she became transfixed on the water going by and her thoughts began to wander.

They dried off, "Hello!" Link called to the other wolf and then started walking toward her.

Grace followed her papa, staying behind him, just to be safe...
