Balto squirmed around in the den, he was bored and wanted to see the world, he crept passed his guardian ( I forgot her name, sorry @KaLe dA QuAiL !!) And peered out of the entrance , he was amazed at everything he saw and smelled, his face lit up with joy and he wagged his tail ferociously .

Visusi looked around and made sure she wasn't needed, she headed back to her den and sat down alone, she had been hidden in the brush when knight asked phoenix to be his mate and she thought it was really cute, she layed down and munched on the small rabbit, it's fragile bones snapping and breaking as she tore into it. She wondered if she'd ever have a mate, she glanced down at herself and her face saddened, no wolf would want a mate with only three legs, I wish I hadn't stepped in that stupid trap, she thought as she continued eating...

Balto looked back over his shoulders and made sure lark was still asleep, he was determined to find his brother and sister, no matter where they were. He crept out of the den, still awed by the world's beauty. He put his nose to the ground and started smelling around .
