You should blow it out and keep it! I agree that it was probably just a glitch, lol.

That’s a great idea to keep it, but it’s too late. I used it to make a batch of pretty darn good cornbread!

I am newer to chicken keeping(just over a year now), but that dark green makes me think of the eggs I have heard an Olive Easter Egger lays. Perhaps one of your EE's is actually and OE!!!

Some of my chickens have a variance in their egg color, sometimes darker, sometimes lighter, sometimes speckled, sometimes not, however, one thing they haven't done is lay completely different colors from the same hen.

Had anyone seen different colors from the same hen? Not just shades of the same color, but a totally different color?

Its a beautiful egg.

Many ees are ones instead. It is pretty normal.
