I chased a Magpie (Australian) away about 5 times bcs him and his mate kept swooping the chickens

60.8 f will be high today. good for gardening. I still have a lot to transplant and I have some seeds as well: turnip, spinach, silverbeet, etc.

Going to get a doctor appointment or prompt care about this cold. After 2 weeks it is now making me hoarse. Okra got tough while I was gone. I think I will let it set seed if there is time.

I thinned out and weeded the bok choi and weeded some of the other new brassicas. Weeded and mulched my new patch of Egyptian walking onions.

Spread a thin layer of fresh chicken fertilizer from the coop over the garlic bed and worked it in, watered it in and covered it with rotted woodchip mulch.

Here is the new coop with floor. With the exception of moving the automatic door to the hole already cut we are ready for ‘D’ day. Oh, and the feed cans will be relocated so we can install the minibar, after all chickens gotta chill.
