Does that mean it is bad?? I am guessing so, since I have seen veins in other eggs. Just wanted to check as this is my first time hatching eggs.

I am new to hatching as well!
I think you may be speaking of a blood ring. You can use the search feature for blood ring and get way more information than I can tell you.

Yep, sounds like a blood ring, if you don't see any veins, you may want to just throw it out as there is a very low chance of it hatching. Good luck with the rest of the hatch! This really is addicive so be ready!
