I agree, these girls are Amazon-hens! The largest one is fully as large or larger than my BR rooster.

The Dark Mahogany RIR like Pine Grove has are beautiful birds. This is a link to my RIR and as you can tell they are production RIR and they deliver almost everyday. I would love to get some of them RIR to show I just dont have the time for more breeds.

Yes Pine Grove (William Bennett) is a member on here. I've heard great things about him. I think he's giving his girls a break to molt, but he's in Lakeland, Ga. and he sells and ships eggs and (I'm pretty sure) chicks too.  He's kinda hard to contact by PM, he still hasn't answered my last one. Bret, this thread is nearly 7 years old and unfortunately, the last update I got on Williams flock of Heritage RIRs a few weeks ago is that he is not breeding them at this time.
