Sorry I don't have a pic right this second, I will this evening..I have three nice wheaten ameraucana hens. hatched them last year from bought eggs. Respectable breeder, I know they are good birds..Now I want to say Im very happy with them and will keep them regardless, im not complaining I just have a question..The three hens I have left show dark specs (ticking) on the body to some degree like you sometimes see on the hackles. How much is generally allowed on hens if any at all? is it a more common trait in some lines or a throwback gene? thanks
