Dark Spots

Hi, I hope this is allowed. I'm asking about duck eggs. I went out & got eggs this morning out of my duck coop & found 4 eggs in their nest with dark spots on them. I'm fairly new to raising ducks. I have no idea what the spot is? Does anyone know or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

ducks are pretty nasty .. it was probably playing in the mudhole and wet when it decided to go sit on them lol .. but seriously i'd just be sure where your at with any eggs you intend to hatch .. if you arnt positive the age i would clean the nest area up real good and mark a couple of them so you get fresh ones to start with ..
