dark spots

I woke up this morning to see these spots on one of my eggs

What is this? Is it normal?

I was just coming on to ask the same exact question! I don't know either!

O also noticed a few green/yellow drops in the empty cups under the fan. I wonder if its oil?


I still need to know what the drops and dark spots are. Only on my brown eggs from what I could tell. They look like splatter marks.

What kind of bator do you have?

Spots magically appearing is never good, it usually means fungus or bacteria. Impossible to tell with out further data.
