Is 'Dark throat' on Golden pheasant ... a pattern ?

Not on a yellow golden.I believe that is a salmon golden.Not sure on crossbreeds as there are so many out there.

Judging by it's breast feathers, slight dark edging on scaloped (tear drop shaped) feathers, changing to dark greenish feathers under it's neck, there is an Amherst in it's ancestory. It also has a blueish tint to It's scapular feathers. They should be dark brown to light brown in color.
