which breed lays a darker egg rhode island red or barred rock

I had both in the past and I think my RIR eggs were darker, but I don't think it was by much (at least as far as I can remember)

For me, the Barred Rock lays a darker egg than my RIR... that may just be chicken specific because my white rock lays a darker egg than the RIR.
