Darkling Beetles ib worm farm

My mealworm farm is about 6 months old using a one bin with all stages mixed together. When I cleaned out the bin yesterday it appears that I have too many beetles. I've read about a 3 bin system but want to know has anyone done a 2 bin system? Beetles in one and worms in another?

I'm no help, but that's amazing that you can grow all that extra protein for your birds. Hopefully someone else can give some advice.

I haven't come across anyone who's tried that. 3 drawer unit works well for me - and makes cleaning easy (what did you do with the contents when you cleaned out your single bin? How do you avoid throwing away the eggs and too-small-to-see mealworms?)
