Darn Chickens!

Me too! My dogs started eating the ripe tomatoes right off my plants. Jerks.

I was prepared for the chickens to get them, not the dogs.

we always get hit by our neighbor's cattle


every year for 7 years they have decimated the garden... the 8th year we gave up and didn't bother to plant one...

and if they leave a scrap behind the darn deer get it

never knew a cow could be as graceful and leap a fence as well as these guys do.... but seeing is believing...

it was the allure of sweet corn.. they just couldn't resist!

7 out of 8 years too.........

at one point in time there were 5 cows with their calves munching away in the corn and swiss chard.....

I wanted to cry... the corn was only about 2 days away from harvest... all that was left was stumps of the corn stalks...... and a few cow paddies........

they don't care.. so long as we don't shoot their cattle they have no worries...

they didn't even bother to repair the fences...

if anything they were amazed that I wasn't afraid of their bull... instead, he was afraid of the crazy old woman who was chasing him with a horse whip and a garden hose...
